He has accomplished precisely one of those aspirations, becoming a Captain in the Temple Knights with several awards for brave and meritorious service as well as an impressive performance in the joust. The other goal had been somewhat more elusive, to his father's dismay, as he had proven exceedingly picky, rejecting this Lady or that one for a myriad of excuses.At least, until along came Josephine Moineau. At first, the two bickered so fiercely that it was a wonder they could stand to be in one another's presence. In a move of bold sacrifice, Dauvaunt declared that he would forsake the position of Heir and go without inheriting the eventual title of Viscount, for Josephine.
